The International Baccalaureate Program
The International Baccalaureate Program curriculum framework consists of five essential elements: concepts, knowledge, skills, attitude, action. The knowledge component is developed through inquiries into six transdisciplinary themes of global significance, supported and balanced by six subject areas.
We are currently pursuing funding for the IB program so that it may get underway when our first junior class is ready to begin IB study in 2008-2009. Because IB is generally taken in the junior and senior year, there will be no official IB courses offered in the 2007-2008 school year. If you want to learn more, click on the IB button and visit the official website for the IB program.
